Caleb Oppong-Wiafe is SGMC’s Oncology Pharmacist. He obtained his B. Pharm at KNUST. Following that he had 9 months clinical internship at the Korle-Bu teaching hospital and a 3-month community internship at The Mall Pharmacy. Before joining SGMC in 2016, Caleb worked with various clinics and pharmaceutical institutions in the country. As a strong advocate of child health, Caleb volunteers with groups such as Lovebridge and Afadjato pharmacists to provide health and social needs to orphans and children on the street. At SGMC Caleb has received training in chemotherapy reconstitution, handling and storage of cytotoxic drugs and post-chemo follow-up of patients. Currently, he is pursuing a certification in Project Management. Caleb is a member of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ghana.
